I also heard of Nwoye,
He gave his wife a basket of wrappers and a farm by the river,
But two moons back, he caught her in his hut with her lover.

What about poor Chimerika
Her lord got richer,
I heard he would marry a fifth wife from Mbata.

Chichi, mama chibundo last daughter,
I heard she's pregnant!
Ewelike is the father!
But days ago he fell when tapping,
They said he broke his back and calabash,
The village now miss his sweet palmwine.
