I began to close my eyes
to see the endless blue
the feeling of the cooling air
and sunrise in my view.

Forever in my eyes I held
this wondrous colored scene
from luscious trees
and endless seas
so quiet and serene.

But then the peace began to break
silence filled the air
until the rising of the screams
began to rip and tear.

From what was pure is poisoned
was luscious now decay
the skies of endless blue began
to fade into the gray.
