A Leaf On The Wind
Crystals of hail, they pierced my heart
Alluring snowflakes turned me stone-cold from the start,
Embers in the hearth have carved in me rage,
Taught me that I'm a leaf on the wind in life's grand stage.
Where the actors so dressed and guilded stand,
And coals pitch-black have left me but a barren land.
Waterfalls have left me drowned in the seas,
Submerged in sorrow - the ocean of peace.
The pearls, corals and gems are now my light,
So even in darkness and despair, my sun shines so bright.
