Ego prevents to see integration
Of self with nature and society
An integration which is real
But which ego blinds from seeing

A myth of a separate self
Devoid of connections with everything around
A myth which believes
Of a self-evolved devoid of its interconnections

An ego which masks behind an identity
Boosting which only strengthens the ego
And only creates pathways to suffering
Through living in an image built around

Always attempting to define itself
In the best possible light
And to prove that one is something
It only takes one away from its real self

Living life is not about
Being something which needs approval
But to enjoy a state of peace
Even a state of being nothing

Ego creates a state of suffering
As it sows seeds of conflict
And prevents achieving sense of contentment
An egoless state is what is need to be aimed for
