Where did the time go, when did we end?

Because now it’s just akward between you and me,
And I don’t know why we can’t just be.

I’ve been struggling with this alot
but have you given it any thought?

I mean we used to be best friends
but now we are on opposite ends.

and it pains me wondering where you’ve been
I just wish we still checked in

because who am I if not your friend
we’ve came to far to have this be where we end.
