We were once sinners,
Dancing with joy like true winners.
Priding ourselves like perfect dreamers.
Yet the darkness we were in gleamed like
The heaven's eye, little did we know that
The darkness was the deceiver.
We were no "Word receivers" but time wasters.
In those days we lost all the senses,
Not knowing we were digging graves
For ourselves.

Time passed, our hearts and souls
All around covered with holes and bruises.
We cried for days and days, but no voice
We heard from above, except waves of trees.
We almost lost our hope and in Him, our beliefs.
One night multitude of stars full of rays
came from above the sky. A voice spoke,
the Lord heard your cry.
Our hearts then were filled with joy.
God indeed you're the best!
