Invaded
By intrusive thoughts,
Testing me,
Will I entertain them?
They are exhausting
Fighting them off
Or ignoring them.
My resolve weakens
And they play games with me
In my head.
I drink coffee
To drown them.
Maybe I should smoke
To smoke them out.
But I will not let them
Dictate my happiness.
These strange entities
That entertain themselves
At the cost of my
Inner peace.
