Six years,
I toiled and sought,
divulging knowledge
beneath layers of black and white.

Six years,
metamorphosing
within these four walls,
altering beliefs,
sharpening discretion.

Today,
I lower the curtains,
and fold the canvas;
a page flutters,
a chapter terminates.

Today,
I retire,
to sail again
—another course.
