They Do Not Hear the Rain
They do not hear the rain,
even though there is a storm,
the thunder crashes with my pain,
but their awareness remains uninformed.
I shout for help with strikes of thunder,
but they have plugged their ears-
an umbrella they stand under,
so they do not hear my tears.
