Game of menopause
Is funny and cranky.
Enters in each women's life,
Sometimes too early
Otherwise appropriately.
Makes her moody,
Sick, vulnerable, fatigued, and dry
For some sleepy
Or for some irritating and insomniac
For a few, it's being back like a baby.
Its side effects go on and on
For some time
And then she accepts and relaxes
With this newness within herself
And finally,
Tries to be happy and calm but
With little worry.
