The reflection I see in the water...
Thrown again to the cold floor
I crawl to gauge my flesh out
Feeding it to the devil in my head
I let it nurture and take control
Until it's taken a shape
Not the one you see in the movies with big horns and sharp claws
It's like I'm watching my own reflection in the water
Just the difference is
The reflection has a haunting smile while my lips are sewed shut
It's asking for an offering
Probably my soul,
But what do I give when I have it no more
So I keep digging my flesh
Feeding it to my starving head
The water's all red now
Probably from my blood
Chilling all my bones, it keeps slithering on my tongue
It's dragging me down now
Probably for my bones
Water's seeping from my eyes as I let myself turn cold
The reflection arises from the lake
As i sink deeper from the ledge
But I'm the one smiling now
As I'm turned into the oblivious ash....
