Body aches, mind full of cobwebs
Unspoken words, thoughts that were left unsaid
Is it worth the pain? Is it worth the breath?
Try to endure but then again...

The body aches, and the heart is weary
I long for some quiet and a tale of dreamy
A place to lay and stay afloat
Just be astray where the river flows

Just float as long as there is a river
This body is numb it will not shiver
Take me wherever, I will not whimper
I will quietly drift and ignore the hurt

Hide the tears while I drift
Embrace me tightly and never leave
With the warmth and the cold, I felt relief
Where the river flows, there I will be.
