A wound that cuts deep,
Gives sleepless nights,
Endless pain,
A wound that barely heals.

Dreams shuttered and
hope lost,
Broken souls wandering
lonely finding way out,
Tears we cry,
Every day and night we
sob.

Our hearts fall in love,
Without connection of
emotions and lost is
love,
It's weight breaks heart to
pieces,
Makes hearts numb and
not easy to love.

The moments we hold the
memories we miss,
The ache within,
The void we can't dismiss,
Longing for what once made us
whole.

But during the heartache,
We still hope for healing and
get free,
Trusting one day we shall make
it through,
Start a new chapter of life.
