Sometimes
Like a river ride
In life we drift along
Following the crowd
Just because
We dare not
Are uncomfortable
With the unknown
What's in front of us
So we follow along
Aimlessly
Singing someone else's song
But we lose the beat
Our timing's out of step
Heaven help us if we dare stop
Realise
This is not for us
And step away
Forging our own path ahead
