Unnamed Connection
We never really knew each other,
Just a chance encounter, a spark.
Like a bee drawn to petals, we were attracted,
Sharing thoughts, feelings, and moments, unguarded.

We grew accustomed to each other's words,
Exchanging stories, laughter, and tears.
But we dared not name this fragile bond,
Lest it wither, like a flower, under scrutiny's gaze.

So I wait, patiently, for the day
Our conversations fade, like autumn leaves.
When our connection, once so strong and free,
Becomes a memory, a distant breeze.

We'll be strangers once more, no longer entwined,
Our connection lost, like sand between our fingers, left behind.
