With my hands dipped in the waters
I took a glance at your beauty
And I was gifted with your smile
I saw jealousy in their eyes
As they wished someone did the same to them
But I took no desire for them
I only had a coin for your thoughts

I hear rumours about their eyes
"Oh, how they shine so bright!"
I could only wonder
If they have ever bothered to feel your smile
Maybe they could have
If you stopped hiding in the clouds
But what can I say
That's when I see my greatest desire, You

I sit patiently by the shore
Looking at where the sky meets the sea
Just waiting to see you
Because that's the only time I get to have you to myself
It's never a dull moment with you looking at me from above
And now I can say with pride that you are my greatest treasure, my moon and my brightest star
