Write a poem on "A tree house"

The birds above fluttered by,
To the treetops in the sky,
A wooden house sat on a thick branch,
It was so beautiful I was held in a trance.
The shining window gleamed in the sun,
Whilst all the kids were up there having fun,
But that was years ago when I was a kid,
Now all of them are teenagers smoking spliffs.
A tear drop dropped from my eye as I knew I had to say goodbye,
To a place that was once my home,
I said by birds and so long.
