I saw you that night
Red shirt with worn out jeans
Across the room your smile glowed
And there I was feeling stupid and awed
I dared myself to move closer
Feeling each step getting heavier
I saw you stole a glance

You took a step back which made me stop

What was supposed to be blue was green
