Fran looked at Anja with a worried expression on his face. "Are you okay?" he asked her. Anja sighed sadly, "Vlado has been bothering me since the beginning of the school year. I've told him a hundred times that I don't want to go on a date with him, but he won't give up."
Fran frowned and clenched his teeth angrily, "That Vlado really gets on my nerves. But don't worry, I'll take care of it."
"Don't, please. I don't want you to have problems with him."
"It's hard not to have problems with him." Fran replied, looking thoughtfully towards the school. Anja furrowed her brows and asked, "What do you mean?" Then it dawned on her, "Oh, wait, you guys are in the same class."
"Unfortunately." Ethan sighed sadly.
"The two of you... do you have unresolved issues from before?" Anja asked curiously, but Fran avoided the question and simply said, "If he keeps bothering you, be sure to tell me! Okay?"
Anja nodded. Echoes of the school bell could be heard from afar, signaling the end of their free period. For the first time since the incident, Fran noticed Mateo standing in the distance, waiting for him. He had completely forgotten that they had left school together. They made eye contact and Mateo gestured towards the school with his head, as if asking him, "Shall we go?"
Fran nodded in confirmation and then turned to Anja, "Our new class is starting, huh?"
"Yes," she replied with a slight smile. "We should go."
With that, they began to walk, Fran towards Mateo and Anja directly towards the school. Before she went inside, she turned back to Fran and shyly said with a pleasant smile, "See you."
Fran returned the smile and waved his hand, his gaze fixed on her as she entered. He was enchanted by her black hair and slender body until he felt a hand on his shoulder. His thoughts returned to reality, and he turned his head to see his friend Mateo grinning mischievously.
