THE TIME WHEN I FAILED , PART - 16
I didn't know the place where we were about to run so I had no idea where did they go. Only Neeraj's sister knew that we were going to run and as she booked the tickets only she knew where we are going. But now she is also missing with Aditi. I was scared as only I knew among all the people in the restaurant where Aditi and Neeraj's sister might be. But I knew that if I tell them, I might lose this job.
I got a call from a unknown number. I went outside of the restaurant to attend the call. Aditi and Neeraj's sister were on the line. Neeraj's sister said, When are you coming ? I said, first answer me. Where are both of you ? Do you even know what is going on here ? Your mother ( the owner's wife ) has been crying continuously since morning. Neeraj is taking out all his contacts. He is calling every single police officer and politician he knows. They have considered both of you as missing.
Neeraj's sister replied, But we never left the state. We are still waiting for you at the train station. Aditi added, How can I leave the state without you. I said, I thought that you both left the state. Neeraj's sister replied, Why would we leave you like this ? Do you really think that we would do that to you ? I replied, I just thought that the situation may have forced you to leave the state. I then asked, so where did you sleep all night ? They answered, At platform no. 3 at the train station. Where else can we go ?
We didn't have enough money for staying at a hotel so we slept at the train station. I sighed. Aditi asked, When are you coming ? I hesitated and answered, I am at the restaurant currently, I will leave by evening till then I am sending both of you an address, for now go there. Neeraj's sister asked, You are sending the address of ? I answered, My house. You both should be safe there. My mom is going to come home at 7 from work and my sister should return with mom as she will first pick her up and then come home. They agreed and left for my house.
