Bloody winter. part 29
(Disclaimer: Tigreb perspective)

I couldn't help but cry, the pain inside my heart was too hard to hold, and this time I lost.
"Why?! Why are you crying?!" Max asked furiously grabbing my chin so I couldn't even lower my head.
I made a step back used my shirt to wipe the tears and I let a crazy laught. With a little trembling voice I said: "Really why? .. You are so pathetic! After all that happened.. Do you even think I could stay one minute without getting scared of what you are going to do?! My whole life changed because of you! Even now I'm scared you will kill me, so please stop fooling around and don't show before of me again! I beg you!"
He finally let go of his gaze. He wasn't even looking at me anymore. However, I knew he was still not ready to go.
"Ou sorry! You guys ask for something on your knees don't you? I'll do that than. "
I said and just as I bent my knees a little he catched me by my arms.
"Don't ever beg someone! Do not ever try to go on your knees! If you are really choosing him, than I'll respect your choice, but you must respect my decision also. I should tell you that I can't make it to your wedding, so I wish you both the best beforehand! " I didn't understand what decision he was talking about, but I didn't dare to ask. He was wearing the most serious face I had ever seen on him. I really hadn't seen him like that. So emotionless and empty.
He put his hand on his pocket searching for something. "Here you go, I do not think that this should stay with me. " he said handing me the keys of my house. Then he turned around taking his jacket. "
What about the keychain? " I asked. The keys had a small teddy bear attached to them.
"Keep it, or throw it away. Your choice. " he replied and left.
I was feeling like a flower without water. Those were my keys to begin with, but taking those back I felt as I took something from him more than just this keychain.
It was something this precious and powerful; and yet so fragile now.
