THE TIME WHEN I FAILED , PART - 2
I really thought about the job vacancies that harsh was talking about. And next day, I went to the mall and asked in some cafeterias and restaurants if they needed a waiter.
They didn't keep me at their shops. I sat on a bench all sad and depressed. A old man was passing by my side. He asked me, what happened child ; You seem sad.
I replied, I don't have any money. My family is suffering from a financial crisis. I want to help them so I came to this mall to find a job. I am happy with the job of a waiter to but no one is ready to keep me at their shops.
He kept his hand on my shoulder and asked me to come with him. I went with him all unknown. He took me to the third floor of the mall, to a very beautiful restaurant.
The owner of the shop was a good friend to the old uncle so, he asked if he needs a waiter. He answered, I do need waiters. The old uncle introduced me to him. He gave me the job of a waiter.
The owner of the shop just said that never ever betray me. I answered, I won't sir. The owner was a good man. He was new to city so he didn't know many people here. I kept his wordsin my mind to never betray him. I got the job finally.
The owner discussed the salary. He said as you are just starting as a new waiter. Your salary will be 10,000 for now. He asked, Is it enough for you. I answered, more than enough. I never got a salary before this and that to 10,000. I can even contribute to my family's monthly budget. I can pay some bills too. At least I will earn something. And sir 10,000 is better than nothing. My father will be proud that I am earning something.
He said, I am impressed. When I was new to this city. I wanted to do something for my family too. I see the same spark in you. I got successful by this restaurant. And my gut feeling says that you will get success soon. Just keep on working hard, believe in yourself and you will achieve everything you want to in life. I said, Thank you sir. He replied, God bless you. I was so thankful to them.
I was so happy. I thanked the owner and the old man. The old man asked me, You got this job now can you do something for me. I replied, Yes Sir ; anything. He told me, Okay. Can you drive me to my place. I replied, Sure Sir.
I know driving since I was 18 but I didn't had a car so I didn't used to drive often. I sat in his car, for the first time I sat in a car this big. When I was new to driving, I used to drive a small car. He sat beside me and told me the address. We had a long route to cover.
