Some say religion is abstract, God ain't real
how you feel as of now, tomorrow may seem surreal
raised up listening to the tales in our epics seemed so cool then,now I feel like" So, that's it!!"
Didn't pray much back then, but always wanted somethings from the dear lord
A mountain cycle,a PC, set of ray ban goggles and what not
just for my thirteenth birthday
Got it all before that special day
But fate had decided something else Cuz our car slipped by the road side on the way back home
my baby brother crying so loud, seemed to beat even the sound of that hailstorm
By God's grace, all of us survived
the onlookers called it a miracle, but I believe the folks will always thrive Until the God decides otherwise
so unthankful was I to HIM that I rather mourned over all of that lost
useless stuff
Like smoking the weed of materialism getting high on every puff
From that day till now, life has came a full circle
For I know now, how meaningless life can get without having to get into any sort of trouble !!
