("I want to grow my hair....!!" screams maggie and dashes down the stairs and gets hung by her mother's neck who was busy on a phone call with mrs. Thompson.)
maggie is a little girl of six years she wants to grow her hair long but her mother wants to see her with very small hair. Just a couple of minutes ago she had an argument with her mother....."mumma please! this is the last time when you cut my hair with the promise of chocolate treats...!! now I'm not going to allow anyone to cut my hair'' "do you think your hair became short this time....no my baby you look so cute after a haicut"
"no mumma I want to grow my hair just as Lisa have"....maggie pleases. "No....do you want hair like Lisa she don't looks pretty instead you look like a princess when you stand by her" mother explains politely and wents down to pick the phone call of mrs. thompson.
"I want to grow my hair....!!" bursts out maggie and dashes down the stairs and gets hung by her mother's neck who was busy talking to mrs. thompson.
"I'm gonna talk to you later"....whispers mother on phone call.
"urgh..." blushes out mother in anger "what's the matter maggie get off me..!" yells mother and puts off the child aside.
"but mom...!!" "nothing....! why don't you go out with freinds and play in twilight".
Maggie slightly moves out of the house.
In the evening father arrives. "welcome honey you came early today". "where's our child ?" replies father. "she maybe playing out will just return". says mother.
Maggie immediately reminds of going back home....and rushes to see her father in front of her.
"father....!" exclaims maggie "oh my dear you are so late".
saying this father grabs her in his arms.
"my boy is grown up now...".
"oh...yes...!! I forgot"...father immidietly reminds of something .
"Today I had a phone call with Mr. thompson they have arranged a family function in their house and are inviting us tomorrow".
"oh...! so that's great"mother exclaims.
"but maggie you have stay at home this is not for you" father said
"but why isn't she invited ??" asks mother
"no...what invitation for a child , this is for adults".
"so tomorrow we will leave her at Lisa's home it's just a matter of hours"
"yeah...it' a good idea".
(Lisa is maggie's cousin who lives on some distance to maggie's house. She is 14 years old and have long beautiful hair which inspires maggie to have the same)
Maggie just looking up in the conversation. "Yes...this is the best chance to grow my hair as Lisa won't send me to the salon to cut my hair". maggie whispers to herself.
The next morning arrives...mother dressed in a beautiful boho dress and father dressed in a black blazer with white shirt and a ribbon on his collar ready for the party.
"You look gorgious darling !" says father with a bright smile. "you too dear" replies mother by dusting his blazer with hands.
"We are late mom...! Lisa may be waiting for me out there" says maggie as she interrupts the conversation.
Mother and father chuckled at the child's words.
