We were at a crossroads. It was a hard choice to make; but amongst the confusion and the barks, I noticed it was actually getting a little bit hard for me to think. So, I had to sit on a little rock a few steps away from the others; and, look at what we had once called home, the shelter. I can still see the broken pieces of its name 'The Living York' floating on the water that has inundated our porch. I frowned even as beautiful memories of playing on the porch flooded my mind.
I made up my mind that we can’t abandon our shelter; at least, that is what I want. To fight for what is ours; and I hope that others would want this too!
