Cut!
#WritcoStoryChallenge
The car swerved around the sharp mend giving a narrow miss to the on-coming bus.
"Stop! Cut!"
"Cut!"
"What's the problem now?"
"I don't know, shouldn't that bus be incoming?"
Silence.
"Maybe," one finally and reluctantly said.
"Yeah, let's change that," another offered.
"But, there's no action," someone said, appearing to have gathered courage from the core of his self.
At first, nobody said a thing. Then, a young woman, a crush of the young man, seemed to find the breach she had looked for, for so long, and she nudged the man who had stopped it all, the director.
"Say it again?" The director asked from the distance, and everybody stopped, looked at the director, at themselves and at the young man, who blushed with all that attention.
"There's more action in oncoming than incoming," he said.
Silence.
The director now was at the spotlight, with a face that until that moment hadn't changed since he had walked in with a backpack, coffee, and home made sandwiches in a brown bag. But, now, he seemed surprised.
The young man started to say something, but the director barked an order, people moved, all were retracted to their starting positions and, after a sign of the director's hand, an ongoing motion began, two vehicles approached a corner, the car swerved the oncoming bus...
"And, Cut!" The director ordered with a smile.
