Broiler Chicken.
A broiler is any chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) that is bred and raised specifically for meat production. Broilers are usually grown as mixed-sex flocks in large sheds under intensive conditions where they struggle to live.

In intensive chicken farms, chicken arw overcrowding in filthy conditions, barren environments, and rapid growth. Chickens also suffer injury and stress through rough handling during catching, transport and slaughter.

In India, intensively farmed chickens are bred to reach their slaughter weight in less than 6 weeks. This is less than half the time it would take traditionally. Their short lives are spent in overcrowded, dimly-lit sheds with no access to the outside.

IS IT SAFE TO EAT BROILER CHICKEN?
Broilers are injected with antibiotic and raised in a condition that no one should be raised in. The antibiotic they are injected are chlortetrachyline, procaine penicillin, oxytetracycline, tylosin, bacitracin, neomycin sulphate, streptomycin, erythromycin, linomycin, oleandomycin, virginamycin and bambermycin. These are used against virus and bacteria affecting poultry. With rampant misuse of antibiotics and growth hormones, the repercussions on human health are visible. Regular consumption of broiler chicken can cause problems like obesity, high blood pressure, heart problems etc. So, stop consuming broiler chickens and go for healthy country chicken meat also called as naati chicken.
