With laden wings- chapter 3
I sat with an unenthusiastic slouch at the back of the class.It's actually a miracle how i pass all my subjects with straight As while not paying much of attention in class.
Suddenly i felt something hit me at the back of my head.I rolled my eyes at such a childish attempt to hurt me. I didn't dare turn around, wouldn't want to give them the satisfaction of having my full attention. I swear these kids, don't have anything to do. I am honestly relieved that i don't have to deal with the real 'bad boys' for now. I haven't seen them in any of my classes and im silently praying that they aren't in any of them.
The sound of the bell rescued me from the paper plains constantly being thrown at me. In a flick of a sec i was out of the class making my way to the cafeteria. I immediately took my food and let my feet carry me as fast as they can to my hideout. I knew if i don't get away from here,i am sooo going to regret it. But as i was so fixed in literally running away from this place,i crashed into something hard and in a blink of an eye my but was on the floor together with my lunch. I cursed myself for my lack of attention. I slowly got up and dusted off the crumps of bread. I finally looked up,only to wish i didn't. Before me was the leader of the bad boys with a disgusting smirk . Oh how i wish i can just wipe of that smirk with just one punch.
Before i can do anything stupid though the devil himself started coming closer. It didn't take a scientist to figure out what i should do.I took of to the opposite direction ,running as fast as i can. The look on the student's faces didn't go unnoticed. Right now i couldn't care less ,I'm running for my life.I don't know why i still run though because in the end they always catch me. As if on cue ,i was roughly pushed to the nearby wall.
"I fail to comprehend why you always run,when you know exactly that we will always find you" Jude said pretending to be in deep thought
"Well Jude im not really gonna willingly let you kill me,the least i can do is run even if i know that you gonna catch me. I'll feel slightly comforted that i tried." I finished and looked at him right in the eye only to be met with a scowl.
"mhmmm" was all he said before i felt a sharp pain on my abdomen
