Prime Minister Canada, Justin Trudeau
I've got something to ask you cus we really gotta know
a pandemic has been verified
and by posts i read we are terrified
as our leader we look to you to guide
and by your word you urge us to remain inside.
for some of us thats easier said than done
not all canadians recieve the same income
Now we hear the urgency
in the news saying stock your homes this is an emergency
and while some bought out all the stock in store
the poorest canadians had to wait another week more.
your helping many Canadian accross the country coast to coast
yet it seems you have forgotten those who already rely on you the most
yes us, the canadian poor, such a thing should not even exist
but not only are there poor in canada, our importance barely makes you list
you must already know for us getting through any month is tough
are you really going to pretend you think what we get is already enough.
we barely get a fraction of the ammount we really need
we often need to make the choice between food and good hygein

it feels still like we will get the means too late
why exactly did are you making us wait?
without our checks we couldnt hope to even try
wht would be left in the stores next week for us to buy
seeing empty shelves in every store
only caused me to stress and worry more
felt my tummy grumble inside
i wish it was more filling to swallow my canadian pride
i was a proud canadian but now i wonder what for
am i proud to be a citizen whos country has forgotten to help its poor?<>
we too need to have a good food supply
we have nothing saved already we scrape to just get by
Living already narily month to month ready
Our income terribly warrily low but now it's lowness is becomming scary
How do you expect us to get through this? Not at all or just barely?
We didn't ask to be born poor, become unable to work or disabled
why Doesn't every canadian in this country deserve to live supported and stable?
But it's a fable if anyone thinks there plenty of food on our table
If your poor in Canada you seem to get overlooked and generally labeled
Unimportant, low life, lazy or ungrateful
I don't know about you but I think these labels are untrue and hateful
Isn't it illegal in canada to...
