Bonding Time
Willow cuddled up to Keiran smiling softly at her favorite song that he composed for her: My One And Only Girl. Ashfur couldn't help but close his eyes and listen to his mate's voice, it was the only voice in the world that could calm him, ground him. "You okay?" Keiran asked. Ashfur's eyes shot open. "Y-Yeah.. Just got caught up in your voice." Ashfur said blushing. Keiran chuckled softly. "Can we go exploring today?" Willow asked her beautiful blue/grey eyes curious. Keiran looked hesitant and Ashfur knew why. "I don't know Wills." Keiran muttered. "Please. Dad said I had powers." Willow said. Ashfur froze as Keiran glared at him. "I thought we had an agreement that we wouldn't tell her until she was older." He said voice low. Ashfur sighed. "I know. But I felt like she needed to know." Ashfur said. "Does she know about the other thing?" Keiran whispered. "No." Ashfur said. Keiran gave Ashfur a serious look. "No. I swear." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "Good." He said his grey eyes flitting to the map. "What?" Ashfur asked, head tilted. Keiran ran his fingers along their escape routes. "We may have to take them sooner than later." The Alpha male said. Ashfur sighed, shaking his head stubbornly. "I'm not leaving." He growled. "Babe. If we have to leave we're taking the escape routes we talked about this." Keiran said. Ashfur glared at his mate. "And go where? Everyone I know and care about is here! My friends, Scourge, Squirrelflight, Hollyleaf. You know that." Ashfur said. "I know." Keiran said calmly. "But this isn't going to end, they're looking for you and it's my job as your mate to protect you, the both of you." Keiran said. "Then I'm coming." Hollyleaf said. Ashfur jumped. "Wait. No we don't need a bigger target on our backs." Keiran said. Hollyleaf glared at the Alpha male. "I made a promise I was going to protect Ashfur and I'm sticking to it. He's stuck with me." Hollyleaf said. Ashfur rolled his eyes. "He's my mate and I said no." Keiran snarled. Tell Alpha male to back off before I throw him to the wall. Hollyleaf whispered. "No one is throwing anybody. Keiran let her come." Ashfur said. Keiran sighed. "Fine." Keiran said. "We need to pick up Mosaic, Leo, Whisper, Diviot, Sirius, Compass and Ghost." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "Okay." He said. Ashfur quickly wrote a letter to Scourge. "Kay, Let's go." He said. Keiran nodded. Ashfur taped the letter on the fridge putting Mosaic and Leo in their carrier and calling the dogs. Fox wagged his tail as Ashfur looked back, his eyes watering. "Keep Scourge safe for me okay Foxy?" He asked kissing the top of the red Border Collie mix's head. Ashfur headed upstairs into his room and packed his stuff, they could get more dog and cat food on the way when they got to their destination. Ashfur grabbed his meds, he would need to refill them but he didn't want to worry about that now. "Ready?" Keiran asked. Ashfur nodded. "Let's go." He said. "You can sleep in the car, we got a long drive ahead of us." Keiran said. Ashfur nodded cuddling into the Alpha male when he picked him up. Ashfur sat up, it was very dark out still. "This is our new house." Keiran said. "Holy cow how much did you spend for this?" Ashfur asked. "Let's just say it took a lot of pricing down." Keiran said. "It's gorgeous. Thank you." Ashfur said. "Hey, for you guys anything." Keiran said. Ashfur smiled softly. "We'll eventually make this room soundproof for our nights." Keiran whispered nipping Ashfur's ear. Ashfur moaned softly. Keiran let go, and gasped. "What?" Ashfur asked. "Recording room!" Keiran said excitedly spinning. Ashfur chuckled. "I can record my songs." Keiran said. Ashfur nodded. "You can record songs for me~." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "I will." He promised. "And with the soundproof room I'll help you hit those high notes~." Keiran said smirking. Ashfur blushed. "Quit your making me flustered." Ashfur said. Keiran dragged Ashfur to the soundproof room, his dark blue eyes glittering mischievously. Ashfur led his Alpha to the soundproof room, closing the door and turning on the recording. "Baby.. I can't wait to wreck you." Keiran said. "Just no knotting, I don't need anymore kids." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded seriously. "I promise I won't." He said. Ashfur nodded. Keiran nipped at Ashfur's neck, drawing a delicious sound from him. "Baby.." Ashfur said pushing the Alpha male off him. "Your membership to Club Noire." He said. "We'll have to find a different club." Keiran said. Ashfur sighed sadly. "I loved Club Noire." He said. "It's where I met Namjoon." Ashfur said. "Mm. Another Alpha? Do you need a reminder of how good I make you feel?" Keiran asked, rolling his hips on Ashfur's lap. "Keir, are we being jealous?" Ashfur asked, an amused smirk playing on his lips. "I kept to my promise, Scourge is out of my hair and so is Crowfeather. That only leaves a spot for you, my King." Ashfur said. "King?" Keiran asked. Ashfur nodded. "Don't you always call me Prince?" He asked. Keiran nodded. "Well your my King." Ashfur said. The Alpha male smiled, his wolf rumbling happily. "But you always go back to him." Keiran snarled again tone jealous. "But who do I always come back to?" Ashfur asked. "Me." Keiran said. "Right. And I promise nothing is going on or going to go on with me and Crowfeather and me and Scourge, trust me I just pushed a human out of my body the last thing I want is any type of intimacy." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded, relaxing a bit at his Omega's words. "And we're mated now, it's different." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "And besides, I don't think I'm even going back I belong here with you two." Ashfur said. Keiran smiled softly. "So. About my powers dad said I had?" Willow asked, her tone impatent. "Uh. You can wait until we're done talking." Keiran said. Willow glared at her father. "I said I want to go now." Willow said back. "Willow Zephyr Carson room now do not speak to your father like that young lady." Ashfur growled eyes flashing silver. Willow rolled her eyes, storming out of the room. Keiran sighed. "Thanks for having my back though." He said. Ashfur nodded. "Of course someone's got to keep her in line." He said. "Are you kidding with your attitude and stubbornness?" Keiran teased. Ashfur rolled his eyes. "Doesn't stem from me." Keiran said. Ashfur chuckled heading to his daughter's room. Willow looked away from her father, refusing to look at him. Ashfur chuckled softly at the framed picture on the wall a black bordered with two white wolves reading: You can throw me to the wolves, I belong with them anyways. "What are you laughing at? Gonna scold me too?" Willow asked her arms folded her blue/grey eyes glared. "I try not to be as harsh as your dad, he loves you very much but even he has his limits." Ashfur said sitting on his daughter's bed. Willow sighed. "He's always stressed, I can feel it. Why?" She asked. "He's stressed because we have rivals in other packs that we have to deal with." Ashfur said wording it carefully, not forgetting Keiran and his conversation from that morning. "But can't we all get along and work together?" Willow asked. "I wish it were that simple Wills but this issue is a bit more complex than that, wolves have to hunt to survive right?" Ashfur asked. Willow nodded. "Right." She said. "Well when there's not enough food sources for every pack or not enough territory wolves will fight for every last bit of that they can get. It's just the way of things." Ashfur said. "I guess." Willow said. "Do you possibly have a power?" Ashfur asked. Willow shrugged. "Maybe." She said. "Describe what it's like." Ashfur said softly. "I can read emotions. I felt it when dad was stressed, like now I can feel your intrigued and a little worried about dad." Willow said. "That's incredible." Ashfur said, hearing Keiran on the other side of the door. "So, no superhearing at all huh?" He teased. "Still working on how to trigger that." Willow said. Ashfur laughed. "No telekinesis?" He asked. Willow shook her head. "Not that I'm aware of.." she said. Ashfur nodded. "Give them time to come in and if they don't then at least you have one power." He said. Willow nodded.
