Ethan Stewart and Hannah Wilson had been together for twelve years, to Hannah it didn’t feel like the relationship was an old one as everyday felt the same as when they had first known each other. He still had the same appeal to her as he always did, speaking to her heart in many ways without a word having to be spoken. As though her heart sang to his in a loving way.

She watched him sitting there at the end of the couch her legs spread out over his comfortably, sitting there in silence while he concentrated on the movie he was relaxed she could tell, after his hard day at work he deserved some chill out time and it was really nice he had chosen to do that with her.

The silence that flew around her between them wasn’t an uncomfortable one and just hours ago they had been sitting sharing stories about their day, it never had felt un-natural to fall silent around him it just filled her with ease as nothing had to be said for them to understand each other, sometimes a look shared between them was enough for the other one to know just what the other one was thinking.
Sometimes it could be a facial expression of I’m unimpressed by this, let’s go or even a simple I love you facial expression. It was a silent bond between the two of them, that made it easy to communicate if they were out in a group and they didn’t want to be rude to their friends and just wanted to leave.

That silence between the two was what completed the love they had for each other, it made everything even more perfect than it was already. Sometimes you can meet people where silence can feel unwelcome, awkward and un-natural, like when sometimes she would walk into a room and everyone stops talking, that makes her feel like she had just walked in on something she shouldn’t have or people were talking about her, making her feel instantly un-comfortable.

Moments like these showed her silence is right with the right person, everyday she counted her blessings for bing with someone she felt so comfortable with.
