I opened my eyes and I saw a group of hefty men surrounding the chair I was tied down to. I started struggling against the rope I was tied with and nobody spared me a glance.
"Stop stressing yourself angel, nothing will happen to you. We are just waiting for your boyfriend to arrive then we'll let you go, as simple as that" a man said and when he came into full view I realized it was the big boss himself, I've seen him in pictures and news but I never expected to come face to face with him.
"Let me go, you dummy or else I'll call the police!" I screamed and two guys pointed their gun at me.
"Leave her, it's Nick we want and if he doesn't turn up now I have patience then we'll probably send her hand to him as a warning" the big boss said before punching me on my face.
"You really have stooped so low to punch a girl"I laughed spitting out blood from my mouth and he raised his fist to punch me again before we started hearing sirens.
"Boss,it's the police" one of his goons said.
"Keep them out of the roof" he said before untying my hands and dragging me upstairs.
We reached the rooftop and I saw a helicopter waiting there.
"Get in!"he yelled trying to push me inside and I wriggled out of his grip. He put his hand behind him and it didn't take a shaman to tell me he wanted to bring a gun out.
"It's the police, put your hands in the air!"

The big boss was arrested and I was escorted to a police car which was supposed to take me to the airport. Suddenly the car diverted and jerked to a stop.
"Is there anything wrong?, why did you stop?" I asked the police officer.
"Gen, are you okay?" I now realized that it was Nick dressed in a police uniform.
"I'm ok, my jaw hurts a bit but I'm fine" I told him.
"I can't believe my plan actually worked" Nick said, "although I didn't know you'd get hit though".
" Yeah, I told you it would work" I said smiling at him
"That's why you are my Sunshine" he said, "babe, I'm going to drop you off at the airport, your stuff is at the back seat, if anyone asks just tell them that the gang kidnapped you"
I smacked him at the back of his head, "Are you crazy, what about you?"
"I have work to do and I can't keep putting your life at risk" he said rubbing the back of his head.
"it's been years since we've been together and you think I'm just going to leave you now?" I asked him furiously, I can't believe he said that.
"What about your dream of opening your own hospital" he argued, and I paused for a second, thinking about the years I spent in medical school, my lifetime savings for my dream hospital.
"Do you think I haven't thought of that?, we're in this together" I told him smiling at him.
"Babe, are you sure?, I can't let a no good like me ruin your life" he asked worriedly.
"I'm sure and by the way, aren't we done with the gang stuff?" I asked him.
"open your bag in the back seat" Nick said smirking. I opened the bag only to see a very shiny diamond.
"where did you get it from?" I asked him amazed.
"Stole it" he stated proudly
"So lemme guess, we are not done?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Nope, this is the beginning"
