I'm anxious to see my Hogwarts house, aren't you? " Said the boy. Newt noticed that the name written on the boy's name tag was Ben Noah. "Yeah, I'm anxious, Ben." Replied Newt. When it was Newt's turn to be sorted, the sorting hat said "Courageous, Smart and Confident, You should be in Griffindor!". Everyone in Griffindor clapped their hands, Newt grinned and sat down at the Griffindor table. They watched the final student, Ben Noah, be sorted into Ravenclaw. "Nice to see yer in Griffindor mate!!" Said Frel. "Let's hope we're in the same class!" replied Newt. An hour later, They were in Charms class. Fairman said the first Charms that they will learn (apart from Newt, Serverax and Frel) would be lumos, nox and Flipendo maxima. Not everyone could conjure it in first Ten tries. During Lumos, one of the boys, Jerry Stoughton, Made the tip of his wand Half-explode. During Nox, the same boy, Jerry, made a mistake instead of putting out his lumos, it made it even brighter. During the final Charm, (it rather would be counted as a jinx) Flipendo Maxima, Everyone got to duel each other and use the jinx, nothing went wrong. But when Newt was supposed to use Flipendo Maxima on Serverax, this happened,Onthe count of two, Serverax yelled "Everte Statum!" And Newt was sent Flying in a series of flips just like it had happened to Serverax on the train. As soon as Newt got up, Newt felt a reckless rage come over him and he yelled "Flipendo Maxima!" Serverax was caught off-guard, laughing. He was sent flying in a series of Back-Flips and fell to the ground, unconscious.
