The Adventure Starts
(Lilian's P.O.V)
As we were walking Dandelion filled me in on why we were on this mission, Josef and Arline have been quiet and just stayed to themselves. But I can't blame them after what I did to them, heck Dandelion's probably only talking to me because she doesn't know, I need to tell her what really happened. She deserves to know the truth.
"So we're trying to find what's making Zalgo and Slenderman sick" she finished, ripping me away from my thoughts.
"That sounds like a real predicament," I said. I had a suspicion that it was that little monster was doing it, and it made sense too, Slenderman was worse than Zalgo because Slenderman and that thing are in the same realm.
"Well, that little town we lived in has always been a cursed place, maybe it's there" I said, slowly hinting towards where we should look.
"I didn't think about that" Josef said, he looked deep in thought.
"Yea, Lilian's got a point, we should look there" Arline added, seeming uncomfortable. It was a silent walk after that, well other than Dandelion talking about random stuff. After three hours we came across a sign that read 'White Bridge historical town' the name of the town we used to live in. It sent chills down my back, I stayed in this town for College. We were all going to try for a College out of this town but we never really got to that part.
"I' haven't been here in awhile!" Dandelion shrieked running into the town.
"Dand-" Josef tried saying, but he was interrupted by Dandelion
"What? Like Lilian said it's a cursed place people will just think we're all ghosts or that Lilian's seeing us" and with that she continued running, Arline ran after her with a goofy smile on his face. It was just me and Josef now.
"It's been a while" I said, starting to walk
"Y-yea" he muttered, catching up with me was easy for him
"I'm glad you aren't dead" I smiled at him
"So" he started, staring at the ground with a pained expression on his face. I knew what he was going to ask but I prayed that he wouldn't.
"Why didn't you save me" he continued, that God awful question that I dreaded. It was just silence after that, Josef let out a sigh like he knew I wasn't going to answer.
"Lil, you know I don't like being ignored" he huffed
"I- I will explain later, when this is all dealt with" I responded, it wasn't long before we met with Dandelion and Arline. We were lucky it was late so no one was out,
"Let's check that 'Witch's Cottage' it's supposed to be the most cursed area around here," Arline suggested, we all nodded and headed over to the forest across the bridge. I had a feeling of panic wash over me and I looked at my hand that seemed to be disappearing into little bits.
"You ok Lilian?" Arline asked, I was surprised that he asked even more surprised that he had worry in his voice.
"Yup, everything's fine, just nervous," I said quickly, putting a smile on my face. I hid the hand behind my back and just hoped that I wouldn't be gone before we finished the mission.
