Those were the days when life was fun , with only DD , no I pads and Netflixs or even Tik Tok as a matter of fact.....when mothers told everyone to go out and have some fun.. ...It was with Appu, where we all wanted to have fun. Appu who came in every home, bringing happiness in every home in 1984.

Every Saturday and Sunday, when no one worked and always took time out to have some fun , everybody wanted to go to "Appu Ghar". Picnics were the talk of the town , where to take children was in everyone's hometown. Children screaming at the top of their voice " Let's go to Appu Ghar , I say.

Uncle & Aunties dancing around, let's go to Appu Ghar we say . Appu was the one who made everything so much fun and everyone was ready to go to " Appu Ghar" and have some fun.

The day comes , it comes so fast , every kid is up by 6:00 clock, on the dot. Pack your lunch , don't forget Noodles, forget the drinks we will buy 7Up to drink . One by one everyone settles in the car , telling our neighbors we are going to Appu Ghar . The other children look at their parents , can’t we go with them, they are also going with everyone else.

Big Splash, the Roller Coaster, the Columbus Jhoola, the Giant Wheel, My Fair Lady , Cup & Saucer, where Uncle's & Aunties gave a peck to each other on their cheeks, where children ran with other children to have some fun .

But wait a minute, Where are you now? You were so much of fun , how I miss you now. Where are you now , my favourite Appu, Appu Ghar, where are you now?
I stumbled upon the photo of our late Appu Ghar, makes me go in flashback, thinking we had so much fun in the old Appu Ghar. Many parks came , but nothing is like the Old Appu Ghar, which made sure we had a lot of fun.
