Morphing obsessive behavior
Obsessive behavior or thoughts are characterized by repeating the same thoughts /behaviors and living through a seemingly endless loop. This can harm our mind,health,life and connections .It can drain/misuse our energy.The good thing is it can definitely end and even be morphed into something beneficial.

There are many ways and factors to transform this. But the first step is to actually realize our behaviors,and to develop awareness. This is the step that takes alot of conscious effort .

Part 1. Cultivating Awareness:

"Bring it to light,and you're halfway there "

There are many ways /methods to cultivate awareness but I'll share a few :

1. Through the eyes of someone else.. Sometimes we realize our behaviors only when someone points it out. This could be a life coach, mentor, therapist,or a close friend etc . When they point it out it's like a sliver of light beaming at our subconscious,we have the opportunity to make changes from within. Seeking help from a professional would be ideal.

2. A self audit-Taking matters in our own hands.... Sometimes honestly ,we just become tired of the life we are living and wonder "why"? .This helps us dive deep into self reflection and make changes..." Where there's a will there's a way".Keeping a journal for self reflection,keeping a log of our daily behaviors (one could start with external behaviors before focusing on our inner world ) , or reminders to assess our behaviors by use of an alarm clock can help. This way you can see how often on paper you engage in a certain behavior.
