Running, sweating, heart pounding out of my chest, I can barely breathe. There's a light ahead of me I've been following for awhile now, the faster I try to catch up to it the faster it falls out of my grasp. The bright light that it once was is now just a flicker in the distance. I can't help but feel this overwhelming sense of panic, running faster and faster until... all of a sudden I lose my footing and fall. Instead of the expected crash of my body on the ground, I keep falling, as if there was no ground after all. I'd been treding darkness this whole time....

My whole body jerks me awake and I sit up in bed, panting and drenched in sweat, I look around the room to reassure myself it was all a dream. My heart beat finally returns to a normal rhythm and I feel my body loosen up from the intense dream.
