📌 Emily's POV📌
The loud noise of my alarm clock woke me up, tiredly I managed to keep it mute.
It was 7:02am, and I have to prepare for my daily job hunt. Finding a job hasn't been easy for me, but at least I have an interview today, hopefully its gonna work out.
The sun rays were peeking through my window, such a lovely sight to view by this time.
"If you keep staring, you're gonna be late for your interview today" my mom reminded me, she was standing at my doorstep.
I turned around
"ohh mother, I didn't forget, I'm just scared"
"Of what?"
"Many things, I've never been been to an interview before and I'm not experienced enough to answer questions"
She sat on my bed
"If you look down on yourself then the interviewers will look down on you, just answer the questions accurately and forget the rest of the things happening around you"
"It's not as easy as you say"
"well it's just a healthy advice which. . . . . "
I cut her off
"Which I'm supposed to follow" I completed her statement
she smiled
"Any news from Sandy yet, how's she coping with her new school?''
"no news yet but I'm sure she can handle herself"
"Certainly"
"How about you, any news from Kingston yet?" she asked sadly
"Mom, forget about him, he's never coming back, we've talked about this already"
" I know Emily, but I'm worried about you, you're still crying inside''
"But I'll be fine soon, there's no big deal in it, I'm fine without him"
She just stared at him with a concerned look
"I'll be okay mom, it's a promise"
