TV Display
Cloudy and grey, a regular day on Cervical
Street. The main street is bustling with many shops working around the clock. In the middle of the street stands one of the more popular sites, Optical TVs. With a dazzling display, the TVs attract a lot of attention. Throughout the day, a show called “Bean's World" is playing for the people passing by to watch. A wrinkly man and a man in a red coat stood in front of the display. ”He is an idiot”, the wrinkly man remarked with a grin on his face. The red-coated man turned to the wrinkly man and returned the smirk. "He is learning and growing you know?” The smile quickly left the wrinkly man's face. "That piece of shit messed up, he deserves all consequences and more”, the wrinkly man snared with a newly formed frown. “You can see in his monologues that he regrets everything. He cries every other night. He still loves her deeply.” The man with the red coat said. The man with the red coat's voice got warmer and slower. “He may earn a second chance.” The man with the red coat
turned back to see the tv. The wrinkly man meanly said, “Obviously you've missed an episode or two but after what he did, he is never gonna be forgiven. She hates him!” Tuning back to the conversation, the man with the red coat slightly leans toward the other man. “You have to see that she is hurt, it's completely normal to give the reaction she gave. She will see the change eventually... hopefully.” The wrinkly man sighed, " Nothing he can do will be good enough, he needs to give up, and accept that he doesn't deserve her.” The man with the red coat interjected, "Maybe with a combination of hope and time, things will work out.” The wrinkly man replied with a vexed tone’” That is so far from reality. A guy like that won't win that battle.” The man with the red coat smiled a little deeper and said, "The universe has a plan and hopefully for both their sakes, they are happy. Only time will tell if love may prevail.” The wrinkly man shook his head and replied, "Let's agree to disagree.” The man with the red coat with the warmest smile said, “Let's do that, same time next week Brain?” The wrinkly man nodded and murmured, “Sure thing Heart… ugh.”
