The more I repeat it in the front of mind,
the more vivid its word got displayed
so spacious and generous
then, the very spelling turned loose,
stripping off certain letters
'Mi-jack-' until then it became 'Mi Jack'
The pronunciation and spellings I did miss
Both things don't seem matter when
a recurring phenomenon of longing
is just on the horizon
Not just anybody that I miss but my person
Jack that I know thus far
Here it goes as a symphony, "My Jack"

Used to be soundly,
How now it's a disturbance to my ears?
Though I'm slow to admit,
it's spreading wildly like itches
on the back of head one scratches
But again, it's always a charm
the way your name dreamily sounds
like a homecoming,
when the temptation of my past knocks
the door of my sanctuary
and condemns howlingly bad;
when the loneliness finds its way
to blanket my flesh and bones
in the darkest hours
I've taken the bait and been ensnared
in the net,
yet you haven't surrendered
losing the bet since it's all on me
