Chapter A: The Beginning:
“It’s time.” Solorella said as she headed over to her bed. She knelt down and pulled out a medium-sized wooden box from underneath her bed. She picks up the box and sets on her bed. She then turned toward her nightstand and opens up one of the drawers. From the drawer, she takes out a key of some sort. She uses the key to unlock the lock that was on the box. Solorella then opens the box and pulls out two vials of blood and a dirty piece of gauze. She sets the vials of blood on her bed, then shoves the dirty piece of gauze in her mouth.
“It must be done.” She tells herself in a muffled voice. She bites down on the gauze and begins sucking on it. Solorella sat on her bed for a good thirty minutes sucking on the gauze. After thirty minutes, Solorella spits out the gauze due to a huge serge of pain beginning to flow through her body. Solorella starts getting a major headache as the pain increases, leading Solorella to feel dizzy. To make matters worse, Solorella starts hearing her mother call her for breakfast. Just as she starts heading down for breakfast, everything starts becoming blurry as she reached the last step to the stairs. Everything gets more and more blurry as she heads for the living room to rest for a couple of moments. Everything becomes black as she collapses on the couch. Solorella lays on the couch for a good ten minutes seeing nothing, but blackness.
“What happened?” Solorella asked slowly getting up from the couch.
“Where am I?” Asked Solorella as she for a quick second forgot where she was and how she had ended up there. It took her a few seconds for her to remember that while she was in the midst of turning herself part vampire, her mother had called down for breakfast. Solorella then makes her way to the dining room where the rest of her family was waiting for her. Solorella suddenly stops as the pain starts to come back. Once again, she gets a headache followed by feeling dizzy.
Everything starts to become blurry as she climbs up into her highchair. Everything becomes black as she puts her head down into her bowl of oatmeal. She remained like that for at least twenty minutes. Solorella giggled as her mother cleaned her face with a washcloth for it kind of tickled a little bit.
“Thanks Mommy.” Solorella muttered picking up her spoon. Solorella then begins to scarf down the bowl of oatmeal. Solorella wipes her face with a napkin then climbs out of her highchair. She then heads to the kitchen to wash her hands. As she is washing her hands, she suddenly has a flashback of something that happened when she was 5 months old.
Suddenly, the names Marcus, Seth, Sasha, Adrian, Pluto, Lucifer, and Hades came to her mind. Then after that, the names Molly, Faith, Xavier, Selena, Paige, Hazatel, and Argeena came to her mind too. Following that, the names Rusty, Liam, Darcy, Daxagar, Daxamillya, Ares, and Annabelle came to her mind.
“Must see vampire loved ones again.” Solorella whispers to herself when drying her hands. Solorella headed back to her room. She stops to look at herself in one of the mirrors in the living room.
“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the prettiest vampire of them all.” She chanted as she stood on the couch looking into a mirror that was hanging on the living room wall. Solorella continues to smile in the mirror admiring her lavender nose and new set of fangs.
“Gorgeous.” She said as she finishes making her way to her room.
Solorella picks up the two vials. She puts them away in the box.
“Well, it looks like I won’t be needing the vials after all.” She says to herself as she begins to lock up the box and put it back underneath her bed. Solorella then puts away the key. Solorella, hear a familiar voice in the hall, leaned her head on bed door to listen in on the conversation of the person with the familiar voice and whoever they were talking. She knew it was wrong to ease drop, but she just had to know where she had heard that familiar voice before.
Slowly, Solorella creaks open her bedroom door. There, Solorella sees her Uncle Tom, her Great grandfather Blake, Uncle Daxerum, and her Great grandmother Isabella having a conversation. Solorella gasped. She couldn’t believe what she heard. How could her Great grandmother do something so awful? Solorella, very quietly shuts her bedroom door, acting as if she hadn’t heard a thing. Quietly, with her door shut, Solorella continued to ease drop on the conversation in the hallway. Tears began to fall down Solorella’s cheeks as she discovers a dark secret. Solorella gasped once again. Solorella backs up as her bedroom door begins to burst open. Solorella hides under her bed, just as her two abusive uncles and her abusive great grandparents come stomping in her bedroom.
