My Worst Nightmare

I blinked as I regained consciousness. I had hit my head hard, or had someone hit me? Then I realised I was holding a bloody knife in my hand.My heart started beating fast and it felt like it was gonna explode. I felt a sharp pain at the left side of my stomach and it was as if one of my rib had been broken. it hurts so bad.I still couldn't figure out how the knife got to my hand but my mind told me to keep running. So that's what I did, I kept walking fast since I couldn't run. I felt my heart ripped out of my chest when I heard some foot step behind me. I decided to walk faster before I get caught. Where I was at that moment wasn't something I could describe with words. But one thing was for sure, I was about to get caught by someone I knew nothing about. It got to a point I couldn't move any longer my legs were no longer under my control any more. I felt really intoxicated by the pain I was feeling, yet I felt really determined to leave this hell hole. The images of what happened started reminscing through my mind.The image of a man forcefully taking me to a place I have never seen before. He was looking so dangerous and had that look of a monster. I sighted the knife from his back pocket and I thought of one thousands ways to kill him with it.I told him I was tired that he should let me rest before we continue walking again but he wouldn't listen so I stopped walking just to buy time for me to think of ways I could escape. Immediately he faced me , I kicked him so hard where the sun don't shine it only took him few seconds to regain his strength and take hold of me. This time he punched me really hard in the stomach and I hit my head on the ground.So he carried me on his shoulder and kept walking. I couldn't see clearly cause I was losing consciousness. But I really don't know how the knife got to my hand and how I escaped. I might have took the knife and stabbed him and run for my life and fainted on my way trying to escape.Before I knew it a large hand took hold of me and placed a hand on my mouth to keep me quiet.When I finally woke up I met myself in an hospital bed surrounded by some machine connected to my body. A nurse came into my room and smiled at me. "You're awake" she said with a radiant smile and I felt save. "How did I get here?" I asked cause I was really confused."A man brought you here" she said quietly. She interrupted me before I could say anything else."You need to rest so you can leave tomorrow"she said and then left. Few hours later the same nurse I saw earlier came in and said I had a visitor. I thought it was the man that brought me here cuz I had no family just me. My heart stopped beating for a second when I saw who it was. The man I never wanted to see ever again.The man I escaped from and almost killed me was here and no one knew who he was but me. I tried telling the nurse I was in danger but he quickly dismissed her and I was left alone with my worst nightmare.
