He left me amazed,

This uber driver and the story he shared.

In his early 30s or thereabout

He drove me to my son's school and back home.

My car's AC needed a fix, So I left it with my AC repairer from cameroon, he was going to make it feel like winter in Antartica.

Though, I had been on Uber for a while before this ride, his, was a story I listened to with so much interest and amazement.

I will always strike conversation with my uber drivers, well, except of course I couldn't connect with the aura of the driver, in which case, I will then keep mute, which is always far in between.

He said;

"Madam, this Uber job is not just about the driving and collecting the money, on this job, we meet people of several calibers. We even meet riders who are ready to tell us several other legitimate ways to make money.

He continued; " Do you know that I have been given over N700k by a rider before?

He got my attention at this point, and I was like "wow! how did that even happen?"

So he went ahead to tell of one of the most amazing stories that could have happened to a simple bachelor, hustling with the Uber driving job, just to make a living in a place like Lagos State, Nigeria.

He said, on that fateful day, in 2018, he had gotten a request for an Uber ride at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport and as is normal practice for him, all other head issues rapidly collated and compacted to the back of his mind', to focus on the hustle ahead.
