Namaste , Namaskaram , hello all, I wish a very happy Shri Krishna Janmashtami everyone.
Lord Krishna and Bhagavad Gita are very special and important in my life. When Lord Shiva became a father , a guru and a guide, Lord Krishna became a friend, a brother and a wonderful companion who has guided me through in my tough times and picked me up through his teachings whenever I slipped in this road of life. So I would like to share the important lessons from Bhagawad Geetha, in a simplified version which can help and guide us in today's world and life.
There are three main yoga in Bhagavad Gita, yoga is nothing but aligning self with the holy Trinity of mind, body and soul. They are,
1. Sankhya yoga
2. Karma yoga
3. Bhakti yoga
Geetha Sankhya yoga,the yoga of Soul:
We have all come here to reside and live for a certain period of time and one day we are bound to live. This human body in which we reside is made up of five elements which are air,water,fire,ether and space. One day or the other it is bound to merge back in to all of them. But we humans think that this mere physical body is permanent so do the illusionary reality we are seeing through our eyes and are bound and attached to it. Why have an attachment to that body when it's meant to die since its birth. Why fear from death,when it is bound to happen and is inevitable to run this cycle of world.
We are not this human body as we think and nor our thoughts that flow in our mind,nor our emotions swirling within then what exactly are we??
We are the eternal souls which are the fragments of the Almighty himself. Almighty is nothing but a large ocean of...
