Speaking out about the Middle East
Speaking out about the Middle East

I haven't spoken publicly about this issue because I know how social media is. They will crucify you no matter what your opinion is. If you speak about it or if you stay silent, it doesn't matter once you say your opinion it's all over for you.

If you know me, you know how I feel. But I do want to speak out about pure human compassion. Not who's right and who's wrong because you will never change a person's opinion. This always leads to fights with each side willing to fight to the death, trying to prove that they are right. This is why we have so many wars. They have to win to prove their opinions are the end all to be all.

No, I am here to talk about basic human compassion. We see something that is clearly wrong, and we do nothing. There are thousands of both Jewish and Palestinians women and children who have died during this. Thousands who are injured, who are now homeless and hungry. These people are the victims of war. These children will grow up never being able to forget what they saw or what they went through. This will make each side hate the other side even more.

It doesn't matter what they are fighting about. It is always about the innocent victims that are left to deal with the fallout. If more people could just remember this, then we could come together and help the people who need it the most.

So today, my friends remember that as in any war, there are always more people who are innocent than who are fighting. And to pick sides in a war that is not ours while leaving people suffering is not humane. We need to have compassion for those who have lost everything, their homes, their businesses, their families, and their children.
We need to help all that need our help because only we can be the change we want to see.
