She knew she was done

Letting her past scars wash away
She knew she was going to be alone
But she also knew nothing was stopping her from creating a new way

To live...To laugh...To smile
She knew she was going to be scared and alone for a little while
But that was nothing compared to the feeling of being alive
She found beauty in everything
That was enough for her to survive
That was her new beginning

Once she became fearless
Every bow and brick thrown at her was harmless
If only they had let her feel
She would have never taken a stand against their will

But that broke her spirit
Their words left her haunted
Never saw her or gave her a chance to fit
Making her feel unwanted

But now she was done crying
At the end ahe was done trying
Every part of her was dying
So one day they found her souless body there laying
That was the moment they knew she was done
She knew she let go.
