part-2
...
Rennie kept her parents in the dark about the fact that she now has complete self-awareness about her condition.
She wasn't even in the right headspace to talk about it with her friends.
Rennie had been emotionally saddened for several days after considering this matter. She was no longer the clumsy, goofy, happy girl. She felt mentally exhausted.

(Trigger warning ⚠️)

She started intentionally hurting herself every day. Because she believed that she was the root of all her parents' problems and that her health problems were the reason they became upset or furious.
She began to consider ways she might end her life.
She even gave it a shot, but it didn't work. She was upset that day over why God had saved her from being dead.
Rennie started to think the world didn't need her anymore. Days, months, and years went by, and she was no longer the same person; instead, she had undergone a complete transformation and was now a completely new being who only wanted to do good for those around her. In any situation, she would never say no. Rennie lost her personality, wellbeing, compassion for herself, and mental peace. She always made an effort to show her parents, classmates, and friends that she was entirely alright by being fully joyful in front of them.
Her parents now knew that their daughter was aware of her condition. They tried to explain everything to her, and she listened silently, acting as though she understood everything. Rennie only said, "I can understand, but how are you handling all this," after they explained the need for keeping this a secret. Afterward, there was total silence. Her parents just stated that it was their responsibility because she was their daughter. They were not wrong in their place but they did kept a communication gap about this problem which made her totally upset.
(trigger warning)
After having this chat, Rennie began to feel like a burden. She continued to try to harm herself in whatever way she could. She began to become addicted to this, and to feel good after hurting herself, it's like she's experiencing pleasure and being relieved of pain.

The year is 2019, and the 16-year-old Rennie has changed......

the next part will continue the narrative
