Our British-style old bungalow has a long veranda, which is attached with two bedrooms. In the southeast corner of the veranda, in front of Babu's room, there we made a little temple for everyday prayers.
Before every prayer, I clean my mandir with a dry wet cloth and clean all used utensils.
Firstly, I lit up a clay-made diya with mustard oil in front of our main entrance gate to get the blessing of our ancestors.
Then in my home temple, during prayers, I keep some sweet candies on a small size brass plate and water in a little glass, it is an offering for God. Then light up a brass metal diya with batti and ghee and also light up three dhoop sticks for an authentic aroma that helps me to connect myself with the divine power of the universe during my process of prayer and meditation .

I end my prayer with the loud echo sound of a shank . And after it was done I again clean all utensils and the praying area, the whole process took almost thirty minutes.

" Now the time is 6:45 pm, office was closed at 5:00 pm but where is he(Tan)? what is going on exactly in his mind? Why he is not coming home yet?" I was continuously thinking even during my prayer.

Also since this afternoon, it started to rain, and the heavy wind is blowing. In this kind of weather, he always comes home on time or earlier than time.
