Some people think that the best views are on our cellphones but for me the best views are happening outside my doors.

I leave my phone inside and I miss a lot of calls because my phone is not my appendage nor is it my everything.

Everything for me includes walking outside sitting in my chair and looking out over the water, watching the ducks land and take off.

I bird watch every single day. I don't go to them, they come to me. And I also sit and watch the beautiful flowers decide whether to bloom or go dormant for the season.

I sit and watch the clouds in how they can look like a dog one minute and a plane the next and as I continue to watch the skies even into the night it tells its own story of life beyond our cellphones.

So, if I missed your call it's because it's sitting next to my bed on the charger and I'm enjoying sitting outside watching life pass before my eyes.
