She was collecting flowers of Raween to make a headband for herself. The sweet smell of Raween always delighted her. Just then she heard crying sounds. They were coming from sea. Neya emptied the basket and filled it with soil and pebbles lying near by. She then broke three strong branches from tree and ran towards the sea while whistling in loud pitched voice. She used to whistle like this to alert her friends from any danger.
When she reached the shore; she saw evil alligator digging its deadly fangs in an innocent dolphin. Neya threw the basket on its face. It was a weak attack but was enough to provide the due distraction for dolphin to escape.
Now that devil being flipped towards Neya and growled. She bravely jumped on its top and started beating its head with the branches from earlier. In the mean time other animals gathered. Squirrels started throwing nuts at it. While monkeys ran to Neya's house.
They retrieved natural cordage made up of stinging nettle and used it to tie the mouth of that devil. Minutes of team work and unity and devil was down. They tied that devil with the nearby tree. Now his destiny was in the hands to Great Lioness.
Then they turned towards dolphin. It was heavily bleeding. Animals pulled her out of water. Neya used a cloth to stop her bleeding and quickly ran to collect herbs from the forest. She made a balm. She cleaned the wound and softly applied it on her arm.
In the night all animals were again gathered at the shore. Alligator had stopped struggling and was giving pleading eyes to every one to let him go. Have they collected to make a roast out of me?, Alligator thought. The Great Lioness descended and all the animals bowed. She examined alligator in one glance and ordered them to let it go. The alligator bowed and left. Kindness is indeed the best weapon to uproot any evil.
